Stone Type Specimen Poster

The type specimen poster’s main objective is to showcase a typeface and provide information about its designer and history and use.

HISTORY

The Stone Serif font family, as part of the ITC Stone font family, was designed by Sumner Stone in 1987 while he was a Director of Typography at Adobe Systems.
During that time, he undertook an ambitious project of designing a super font family which could incorporate different type styles in an integrated fashion. Therefore, the creation of the ITC Stone Serif® works perfectly with the other typefaces of the Stone font family, such as ITC Stone Sans®, ITC Humanistic® and ITC Stone Informal® in newsletters, business correspondence, books and packaging.
