1. Rough shoot
2. Stages
3. Composition

I chose the Girl’s Afternoon Tea as my theme because the weather was not really allowed me to do an outdoor shoot. At the beginning of shooting the rough, I was thinking that I could shoot either at my home or in my apartment’s lobby. However, after I shot it, I found that the sofas were parallel so that I couldn’t see the five positions clearly. Also, it was hard to change the clothes in the lobby. Therefore, I decided to shoot at home because I had an “L”-sofa and tea tables which could make people easily see each position.

There was one more thing that bothered me a lot. The contract in the rough was not really good. It was not very interesting as what I thought, so I changed my concept a little bit. The idea of pregnant woman was inspired by my pregnant friend. She couldn’t drink tea because there was too much caffeine in it, which could damage the baby. So I added this one into the concept. The model was drinking fruits juice instead of tea.

During the shoot, I took Andrew(my instructor)’s advice that I dressed up as same as my model which she would wear the clothes in her next shoot. This was really useful when I composed the pictures together because it caused less conflicts and made the composition more natural. Also, I used one of the cushion and lamp as my reference substance. Otherwise, it was hard to let my model take my position. Finally, I thought my Multiple Me’s looked very nice.
